Fort Harrison Reuse Authority Hires Beth Patterson of Colliers

LAWRENCE, INDIANA (June 25, 2015)  The Fort Harrison Reuse Authority is pleased to announce the hiring of Beth Patterson, Principal and Director of Retail Services at Colliers International, to assist in marketing the highly visible retail sites in the Lawrence Village at the Fort project at Fort Benjamin Harrison.

Beth promoted the development at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Las Vegas in May.  Lawrence Village is a unique 150 acre development on the former Fort Benjamin Harrison Army Base featuring live, work and play opportunities in a bucolic but high energy area in the heart of Lawrence.  She will be focused on attracting retail users and developers to the fast growing area in Lawrence.

Recent activity includes the delivery of The Post, a mixed-use, 36,000 square foot, office/retail building which is close to 100% leased on the first floor with Jockamo’s Upper Crust Pizza as the anchor.  The second floor of the building features over 100 office suites with pre-leasing at over 50% committed.

Other activity includes the addition of a master-planned development for the David Weekly single-family housing project on Parcel A.  This venture will feature 74 cottage homes and will be ready for construction of the homes in June.

Finally, groundbreaking for Bloomerang’s corporate headquarters, a fundraising software development firm, took place on May 12th.  Bloomerang will be located along Birtz Rd. and is predicted to have 50 employees by the end of 2017.
