INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Browning, a prominent Indianapolis-based commercial real estate development and construction firm is pleased to announce that Allison Transmission has selected Browning to construct their new Boiler House facility. The Boiler House will eventually be the main source of power for Allison Transmission’s manufacturing operations. It will be located on existing Allison owned Speedway property south of the company’s global headquarters.
This multi-million dollar investment by Allison Transmission will be constructed from structural steel framing featuring concrete masonry unit walls covered with brick veneer and metal exterior skin. The design of the facility will complement other Allison Transmission facility renovations which have been under construction in both Speedway and Indianapolis for the past few years.
