INDIANAPOLIS, February 5, 2016 – Browning is proud to announce Angela Wethington has been inducted into Midwest Real Estate News’ Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. The Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame honors and recognizes individuals from each Midwest state who have made the industry what it is today. Wethington joins Browning Chairman of the Board, Michael Browning [Class of 2013], among the leaders of the Midwest’s commercial real estate industry.

Wethington is Vice President of the Asset Management division for Browning where she is responsible for managing a large and dynamic portfolio of research and development, flex, office, retail and industrial properties in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Virginia and is a member of the Development Team who handles the new development and redevelopment of urban infill projects with office, retail and multi-family components.
A native of Indianapolis, Wethington’s diverse background has shaped her into a successful real estate professional with a unique understanding of the various sides of a real estate transaction: economic development/incentives, leasing, investment sales, development, and management of commercial real estate. Before her tenure at Browning Wethington has served as the Senior Vice President, of Investment Sales at Cassidy Turley where she directed investment sales on over 72 investment offerings and portfolios totaling more than 33.6 million square feet with an estimated value in excess of $1.5 billion. Prior to Cassidy Turley, Wethington was the Director of Business Development for the Indy Partnership, a nine county regional economic development firm in Indianapolis.
“I am honored to be among so many accomplished past and current inductees in the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame,” Wethington said. “I attribute my success in the industry to the mentors I’ve had as well as members in industry organizations like IndyCREW.”
Despite her busy career, Wethington is active with NAIOP, BOMA, CCIM, lndyCREW, Indianapolis Parks Foundation Board. She is passionate about urban farm development to help reduce food insecurity and served as Chairman for the 2015 Indy Urban Acres Farmraiser.
