  • Indiana Contractors Roundtable Supplier Procurement IDEAL Award - 2023

    The ICR Best Practices in Supplier Diversity Award recognizes successful innovation efforts to increase supplier diversity on a project or within a company. As the top recipient we outlined a specific problem within our supplier diversity program and outlined the tasks taken as well as outcomes to demonstrate an large improvement in our supplier diversity program.

  • Indiana Subcontractors Association General Contractor of the Year - 2021

    ISA subcontractor members voted based on our performance in several areas that are important to our relationship with the subcontracting community including: Field Staff Strength, Payment History, Safety, Project Management, Project Scheduling, Contract Terms, and Ethics.

  • Indiana Subcontractors Association Excellence in Ethics Award - 2021

    The judging criteria for the “Excellence in Ethics” Award aligns very closely with our core values (Be Browning: Be Excellent, Empowered, Respectful, Admirable, Safe) and are at the heart of how we do business. This award was also voted upon by ISA subcontractor members.

  • NAIOP Indiana Developer of the Year - 2021

    Our 2021 submission included 10 projects including a Platinum LEED certified headquarters, the first new project in the City of Lawrence’s Trades District, a university hall and chapel, a company’s first distribution hub in Indiana, and projects in our established industrial parks – representing nearly 2.5M square feet and $282 million dollars of investment in Central Indiana. This is Browning's fourth NAIOP Indiana Developer of the Year award.

Projects listed as part of the Midwest Real Estate News recognition include the Infosys Innovation Hub, First Internet Bank HQ, and Velocity 65 Trade Center, 16 Tech Innovation District, and Discovery Park District at Purdue University.

  • Indy Chamber Monumental Real Estate Development Merit Award - 2020

    Browning was honored with the Real Estate Development Merit Award for Innovation Building 1 at 16 Tech recognizing projects that demonstrate exceptional achievement of best practices focusing on the responsible use of land and creating and/or sustaining thriving communities.

  • Mayor’s Diversity Above and Beyond Award - 2019

    Browning was recognized, alongside its JV partner Davis & Associates, for success in involving minority businesses in construction. 50% of the firms working on Innovation Building 1 were certified as Minority, Women, Veteran, and/or Disabled-Owner Business Enterprises – compared to a City goal of 27%.

    For the third time, Browning was named Developer of the Year by Indiana NAIOP. Our 2021 submission included approximately 2.1 million square feet of industrial projects developed, built and sold over 157 acres and valued at over $108 million at AllPoints at Anson and AllPoints Midwest.

  • NAIOP Indiana Industrial Real Estate Development of the Year - 2017

    The IU Health Integrated Distribution Center in AirTech Park, Plainfield, IN won Best Industrial Project - an honor shared with our joint venture partner Prologis, Inc. The state of the art facility serves as the central supply center for IU Health’s 15 hospitals, 25 surgery centers, and 200 clinics.

  • NAIOP Indiana Mixed-Use Real Estate Development of the Year - 2017

    Browning’s retail mixed-use project in Broad Ripple, The Coil, won best in its class. The Coil was developed and managed with partner Sheehan and includes a 33,500 SF Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, 151 luxury apartments/townhomes, and a 350 space parking garage.
