The developers behind a large Bullitt County industrial park have started constructing the second of six buildings (Building 2) on nearly 300 acres of land near Interstate 65 in Shepherdsville.
Indianapolis-based real estate firm Browning is now working on a 908,600-square-foot bulk distribution facility near the completed first building off Cedar Grove Road and Alpha Way.
The enormous complex is speculative construction and should be ready for tenants by summer 2020, said Phil Charmoli, a senior director for Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Kentucky. Commercial Kentucky is handling the leasing for the facility.
Charmoli noted the building will be located near a new I-65 Interchange in Bullitt County, the construction of which will wrap up after this building is completed next year.
