Browning is the Development Manager and Construction Manager for frēijē Engineered Solutions Company’s new 32,832 SF corporate headquarters in Lawrence, IN with construction starting in April of 2021.
The new corporate headquarters building will be one of the first developments to be completed in the newly established City of Lawrence Trades District. frēijē’s design/build/service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing company, originally founded in 1959, will make a capital investment of more than four million dollars in the trades district. Its new headquarters will feature office space, warehouse space and an in-house training center.
Browning assisted frēijē in securing the site through a City RFP process and negotiating the appropriate entitlements and public improvements to begin construction. Browning utilized its long history of relationships and services with the City to Lawrence to help grow its Trade District initiative for the corridor. On land formerly home to a gas station, an auto service garage and a Knight’s Inn, frēijē will join Mission Mechanical, Midwest Remediation, and Amerifence as key anchors of the Trades District.
