The state-of-the art Walmart facility incorporates industry-leading modern bulk warehouse features including 40’ clear height; 8,000-amp electrical service; 55’ x 53’ bay spacing with 55’ x 60’ spacing at the staging bays; and LED high-bay warehouse light fixtures. The 650’ x 1,760’ building, which is expandable by more than 200,000 square feet, includes 16,500 square feet of office space, 100 – 9’ x 10’ dock doors and one 12’ x 14’ drive-in door.
Building specific upgrades for Walmart include LED lighting with motion sensors throughout the warehouse; air conditioned warehouse; energy rotation unit heating system; 20” concrete aprons and dolly pads pavement section (10” concrete with 10” stone); 20.5” heavy duty asphalt pavement section (6.5” asphalt and 14” stone); MFL Wall (Maximum Foreseeable Loss) dividing the facility; MxV Energy Absorbing Heavy Duty Insulated Dock doors with Shock Absorbing Dock Bumpers, High Speed Fans and LED dock lights; Diesel and Electric fire pumps with (2) 300,000 gallon water tanks with ESFR Fire Suppression System with stainless Steel Fire Riser lead-ins and separate 3 hour rated flammable storage room.
Located off I-70 on the limited access Ronald Reagan Parkway, the facility is located in Browning/Duke’s AllPoints Midwest business park, providing convenient access to the highway as well as to other transportation options, including air freight through Indianapolis International Airport and rail service through CSX Railroad’s Avon intermodal yard. With 1,000 acres for the development of more than 13.5 million square feet of space in AllPoints Midwest, the park is able to accommodate Walmart’s need for future expansion.
